------- 2006 September - Flagstaff ------

We moved out of the house to an Adult-oriented RV Park (this didn't turn out to be what I had expected it to be from the name).

Well, as far as changing spaces: It was summer when we moved in so the campground was full of "snowbirds" from colder climates. They put us in #38. #38 is not a winter site (no heat on the water faucet) so when October 15 rolled around the snowbirds fled the cold (including the summer manager) and we were told to move to #21. More spaces means more $$ so many campgrounds pack RVs in like lesbian sardines (you can use that one, it's one of mine) and space #21 blocks three pull-through spaces and one parking space. Pull-throughs are very desireable so the winter-manager hinted that he would like us to move. We agreed we would like to move because there was no room for us to park (two vehicles plus the trailer). This is the first winter that they have kept the office open for travellers so the pull-through sites are the sites of choice for these over-nighters. We have also gotten to be friends with he and his wife and they invited us to move to the "other side". As it turns out. The Matriarch of the family divided the park between two very argumentive offspring. The son got the RV Park and his sister got the Mobile Home Park. Three RV spaces are physically located on the Mobile Home side and we are in one of these. The Mom is running the park because the daughter, "has a family and good income and is not interested" but we have not met her yet. After five years the three RV sites became part of the mobile home side so we are in the Mobile Home park officially.

------- 2006 June - Denver -------

Well, on our trip up to Yellowstone we traded in the old travel trailer for a new 5th wheel.

We started living in it in our back yard. Every time we went out we would subject the cat, Guiness, to the lifestyle for a few minutes at a time. By the time we were sleeping in it at night he was used to it and stopped asking to go in the house. (A talking cat is a real burden, trust me.)

------- The Early Years, 2002 to 2005 - Flagstaff -------

It all started in 2002 or 2003, when Marnie read Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. She said, "You gotta read this!" I did and though I have been investing for many years Robert put things in a way that I finally "got it."

One day, out of the blue, she said, "Let's rent the house out for passive income and live in an RV."

"Really?" says I.

We threw her parents out and started selling stuff.

Stay tuned for more. This is my first Weblog so bear with me...
